Alternative Of TIKTOK app Snack Video App full detail


The Indian government banned 59 Chinese apps on June 29 following a border dispute in Ladakh's Galwan Valley. So far a total of 224 apps have been banned, which were originally from China or associated with China. Short video Chinese app 'Snake Video' has made inroads in India since Tiktok was banned. The app has been included in the top list in the free category on the Google Play Store since July 21.



Users are liking the Snake Video app
The app has received over 23 million downloads so far. Users have started liking this app after Tiktok was banned. The app maker Kuashu Technology's Kuwai app has already been banned in India.

Top 5 short video app on Google Play Store
The short video app dominated the Google Play Store's app list on Thursday, August 3rd. Out of these 5 apps, 4 apps were Indian. These include MX Takatak, Josh, Moj and Sharechat. However, in the last 14 days, none of these 4 apps have been able to compete with the Snake video in the top 1.

More than 80 lakh downloads of the app since July 27
On July 27, the Indian government banned 47 Chinese apps. It was a clone of previously banned apps. Snake video was not named in this list, however. Despite the government's crackdown, the Chinese app has received more than 8 million downloads.

4.3 star rating on Google Play Store
The Snake Video app has received a 4.3 star rating on the Google Play Store. The app has a size of 50Mb. The app was last updated on August 27th. The app supports Android 4.3 and above.

So far 224 Chinese apps have been banned
The central government on Wednesday banned 118 apps linked to China amid rising tensions in Ladakh. It also includes the South Korean popular gaming app PUBG. In the 78 days since the scuffle between Indian and Chinese troops on June 15, the government has carried out three digital strikes on China. A total of 224 apps have been banned so far.
